Housekeeping Supervisor

Position Overview

Housekeeping Supervisor – responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, training staff, and coordinating with front desk and maintenance teams.

• Engage with guests to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assign duties to staff.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces to confirm cleanliness standards.
• Hold staff accountable for maintaining quality standards.
• Train and onboard new housekeeping employees.
• Perform linen and supplies inventory.
• Assist with performance evaluations.
• Coordinate activities with the Front Desk Supervisor and other staff.
• Report maintenance needs and ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Arrange coverage for callouts or increased room count.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Minimum six months experience in a similar housekeeping role (desired).
• Engaging and caring personality.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Physical strength to lift or carry at least 25 lbs and move equipment up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
• Familiarity with spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.

USD $21.00 – $21.00 per hour.
