Payroll Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees, while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll administration and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

- Manage full-cycle payroll processing

- Ensure accurate calculations and timely distribution of employee paychecks.

- Handle payroll adjustments, including garnishments and other deductions, with precision.

- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

- Update and maintain payroll records and employee information in the system.

- Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies and addressing employee inquiries.

- Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify any irregularities.

- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to support payroll-related functions.

- Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

- At least 1 year of experience in payroll administration or a related field.

- Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing.

- Familiarity with payroll systems

- Knowledge of garnishments, deductions, and payroll adjustments.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and provide solutions.

- Understanding of payroll compliance regulations and practices
