Allegheny Millwork, Inc. is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across all of the Allegheny Diversified companies. This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across a diverse range of positions, from skilled trades and manufacturing to professional and administrative roles. Experience
Required:
3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all of the Allegheny Diversified companies, from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with managers across each company to understand workforce needs, define position requirements, and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels including job boards, social media, industry networks, trade schools, career fairs, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill positions, particularly in skilled trades, construction, and manufacturing.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with position requirements, company culture, and long-term organizational goals.
- Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate data entry, timely communication with candidates, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Develop and promote the employer brand across all of the Allegheny Diversified companies, creating compelling job postings and leveraging social media and digital platforms.
- Coordinate and attend job fairs, trade school events, open houses, and other recruiting events to expand the candidate pipeline.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO and OFCCP regulations.
- Collaborate with HR team members on onboarding, retention initiatives, and workforce planning.
- A combination of education and relevant professional experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a multi-site or multi-company environment.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for a mix of skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, and professional/administrative roles.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience recruiting in the construction, millwork, manufacturing, or building products industries.
- Experience with workforce planning and headcount forecasting.
