Position Overview
Grunkey Industries is a growing technology services company seeking a motivated and curious Entry‑Level Technology Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate interested in gaining hands‑on experience across a wide range of technologies, including software development, data systems, cloud platforms, and emerging AI tools.
You will work closely with senior team members to support client solutions, internal systems, and ongoing technology initiatives. This is a generalist role designed to provide exposure to multiple areas of technology while building a strong technical foundation. You will work with Grunkey Industries to help mission‑driven organizations better serve their communities, audiences, and constituents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications and information systems
- Support the practical use of AI tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, analyze information, and enhance client solutions
- Help evaluate, prototype, and implement AI‑enabled tools, prompts, automations, and integrations
- Contribute to responsible AI usage by documenting approaches, validating outputs, and supporting quality control
- Assist with data management, reporting, systems integration, and basic data analysis tasks
- Support configuration and administration of platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and service management tools
- Contribute to coding tasks using modern programming languages and development environments
- Participate in software testing, debugging, and documentation efforts
- Support cloud‑based systems and services across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Participate in bespoke technology projects with clients
- Collaborate with team members and clients on technical projects, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and development work
- Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and continuous learning activities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Equivalent technical training, relevant work experience, or relevant coursework will also be considered
- Foundational knowledge of programming concepts, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar
- Interest in AI tools, automation, data systems, and emerging technologies
- Understanding of basic IT systems, networking concepts, or data structures
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team setting

- Internship, coursework, project, or relevant work experience in software development, IT support, AI tools, automation, or data systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Service Now, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms
- Interest or experience using AI tools for coding support, documentation, workflow improvement, or analysis
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or web technologies
- Experience working on team‑based technical projects

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
