Assoc. Dir , Product Manager, Disease Biology & PharmTox

Primary Responsibilities

• Own and communicate product vision, strategy, and outcome roadmap for preclinical digital solutions (in vitro screening/bioassays and in vivo study data management).
• Understand user needs via interviews, shadowing, and usage analytics; map processes and information architecture to find pain points and automation opportunities.
• Define problem statements, requirements, and success metrics (PRDs); drive rapid prototyping and solution discovery with cross-functional teams.
• Prioritize features/trade-offs, manage backlog and release planning; lead squads to build user-friendly scientific data/technology products.
• Evaluate and integrate internal/external tools; manage vendor relationships; ensure ecosystem integration with engineering leads.
• Apply FAIR standards and advance in silico, AI/ML approaches for drug discovery.
• Maintain SDLC documentation (GxP and non-GxP), guidelines/SOPs/training, and support regulatory audits.
• Drive adoption with metrics/user feedback and promote capabilities to stakeholders.

• 5+ years in scientific software development, pharma sciences, target discovery, or scientific data management; strong preclinical domain knowledge.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary squads; translate business needs into user stories and requirements.
• Experience with scientific workflows; strong SDLC + Agile; comfortable in GxP environments.

• M.A./M.S. (3+ years) or B.A./B.S. (5+ years) in a relevant scientific/technical discipline.

• Pre-clinical drug discovery IT/informatics/scientist experience; AI-powered product tool usage; data analytics (R/Python), databases/data integration, visualization (e.g., PowerBI).
