Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Vice President of Supply Chain & Distribution is a senior executive responsible for leading all supply chain functions — including purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, warehousing, and transportation — for a multi‑branch wholesale organization. Based in Central PA, this leader oversees two distribution centers and ensures product availability, cost efficiency, and high service levels across the company’s network.

This role drives the end‑to‑end supply chain strategy, aligning closely with sales, operations, finance, and customer service to support profitable growth. Key priorities include optimizing inventory performance, strengthening supplier partnerships, modernizing distribution operations, and improving logistics efficiency. The VP also builds and develops a high‑performing team and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.

Core Responsibilities
  • Setting and executing supply chain strategy tied to corporate growth goals.
  • Managing inventory, purchasing, demand forecasting, and working capital performance.
  • Leading supplier negotiations, partnerships, and performance management.
  • Overseeing distribution center operations, warehouse systems, and process optimization.
  • Directing transportation, fleet operations, route efficiency, and logistics compliance.
  • Developing leadership talent and implementing KPIs using the EOS framework.
Ideal Candidates Bring
  • 10–15 years of progressive supply chain leadership, including multi‑site distribution oversight for a $300M+ organization.
  • Expertise in inventory management, procurement, supplier negotiations, and logistics.
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems and supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • A strategic, data‑driven, collaborative leadership style with strong operational rigor.
Success Will Be Measured By

Inventory turns and accuracy, fill rates, vendor cost savings, DC productivity, freight cost efficiency, working capital performance, and safety/compliance outcomes.
