Description Monitor & analyze performance data to identify areas of improvement for supply chain - on time delivery, cost. Collaborate with the supply chain, business & customer service team to identify improvements. Work with plant & planning to improve supply chain planning outcomes. Utilize the ERP to plan inventory and make sure distribution orders and customer orders are updated. Work with the wider materials & supply team across the US to build supply chain reporting.
Plan and execute inventory strategies to optimize sales, in-stock rates, turns and inventory health for owned category. Monitor, analyze and own key performance indicators such as inventory levels, lead time, fill rate, OTD. Collaborate with internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect planning & inventory. Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to provide accurate and timely information on product availability, schedule adjustments, and address inquiries.
Profile A successful Materials Supply Chain Specialist should have:
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate across multiple departments. Accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple projects within a team environment. Self-directed and proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficient understanding of planning principles, practices, and procedures. Prior experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling over multiple shifts and product lines. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (or equivalent) and Microsoft software functions, Power
BI, etc. Desirable:
Associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in a related field. Experience in planning, purchasing, supply chain or manufacturing departments within a Lean manufacturing/operations environment.
Experience with ERP / SAP systems. Job Offer Equivalent annual salary of $80,000. On site 5 days a week in Scranton, PA. Paid on an hourly rate. Temporary to hire.
