The Janitor works Forge, Heat Treat, Production and Machine Shop cleaning and maintaining order in all restrooms, offices, stairwells, walking thru ways, halls, break rooms and cafeterias.

Major Position Responsibilities

* Constantly cleans restrooms by means of sweeping, moping and bending to scrub and wipe all surfaces. Regularly refills soap and paper containers, and hand sanitizers

* Removes trash by lifting and carrying garbage bags from area of responsibility to onsite dumpsters

* Constantly cleans breakrooms, locker rooms, offices

* Works with and follows one or more Work Instructions, Basic Rules of Manufacturing, General Dynamics OTS Environmental, and other work related policies

* Must be able to use sanitizer and bleach products

* Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, must be able to work independently, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Work is in a union environment.
