Program Manager Classification:
Exempt Scope of Position
· Manage and coordinate comprehensive program participant services throughout clients’ enrollment. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients and leadership and direction to program staff
Essential Functions
· Oversee program staff to ensure outreach and intake, case management, job placement, data handling and follow-up services of participants are met while adhering to program policies
· Provide mentorship to staff and model positive communication techniques to resolve client issues of program engagement and attainment of employment and training goals
· Supervise program staff to monitor contract regulations are being followed and targets met
· Assist in the development and implementation of removing client barriers as identified on the employment development retention plan
· Review and approve program eligibility determination
· Coordinate regularly with members of partner agencies to promote program services and address individual participant concerns
· Facilitate tract and functional team meetings to ensure timely dissemination of information and effective use of program resources
· Generate required reporting to evaluate and assess program performance
· Strategize and implement processes for improvement to meet or exceed contract benchmarks
· Provides positive vision for required changes during program operation.
· Track components of program funding and support services
· Address human resource and staff concerns in partnership with the Deputy Director
· Aide in writing and development of contracts
· Interpret and monitor local, state, and federal regulations as applied to programs
· Assist with recruitment and outreach to market programs and Career Link services
· Supervise functional team members to align with program needs
· Other opportunities as available
Education and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or related area is required
· Excellent communication and problem solving skills
· Ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources
· Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in public administration, human services or a related field, with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in workforce development
· Clean driving record and reliable transportation required
