We are looking for aSite Managerat our Braddock, PA location. The ideal candidate that we seek for this role is an ambitious self-starter, innovative, committed to continuous improvement, is a collaborative and inclusive team member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary site lead, responsible for overseeing 24/7/365 operations and maintenance, ensuring the site is operated safely and in compliance with TMS corporate policies as well as customer contractual requirements and applicable local, state, and federal regulations (i.e. OSHA, DEP, EPA, etc.)
  • Site representative, responsible for direct interface with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and other third parties
  • Financial management of site operations, including profit & loss responsibility, expense management, capital investment, and a focus on continuous improvement and revenue growth
  • Responsible for implementing and enforcing TMS safety, environmental, personnel, equipment maintenance, and financial control policies across all aspects of site operations
Qualifications:
  • Five years of operations management experience in the steel (mill and scrap operations), aggregate, construction or other related industries
  • Experience working in and leading a maintenance department is preferred, to include knowledge of heavy equipment operations
  • Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures, and industrial safety programs
  • Must have experience managing mobile equipment preventive maintenance programs, direct experience managing mobile equipment fleet maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations and management of general HSE programs and policies.
  • Ensures site compliance to Company maintenance and safety programs and assists in coordinating the Safety/ISO Program
  • Experience administering a formal safety and maintenance program preferred
  • Project management, planning and the ability to develop a business plan
  • Fast-paced, self-driven, resilient, solution focused and highly ethical work style
