, the Director of Sales leads strategic sales initiatives that drive occupancy, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure every prospective resident and family experience compassionate, professional, and responsive service.
- Ensure the confidentiality and protection of all resident and patient health information in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy and census goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and implement strategies that enhance the overall experience for residents, families, and referral partners.
- Schedule and conduct face‑to‑face sales calls with qualified referral sources to develop and strengthen professional relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic pre‑call plans and utilize structured sales processes to secure referrals and drive admissions.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the senior living industry, local market trends, and key referral sources to inform strategic decision‑making.
- Oversee promotion, public relations, and advertising initiatives to enhance community visibility and brand presence.
- Plan and coordinate facility events, seminars, and outreach activities that engage referral sources and community partners.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of sales strategies with organizational goals and occupancy targets.
- College degree preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of luxury senior living sales experience with a proven track record of building relationships and driving occupancy growth.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for serving seniors and building meaningful, trust‑based relationships with families and referral partners.
- Strong understanding of the senior living market, with the ability to develop and execute strategic, market‑specific sales and marketing plans.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to achieve organizational goals.
