County Social Services Aide ; Local Government - Clearfield County C&Y

Clearfield County Child Welfare Service is seeking a dedicated County Social Services Aide 1 who enjoys helping children, youth, and families. This position provides support to children, youth, and families through scheduled appointments, daily assistance, and basic clerical tasks. As a County Social Services Aide 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Client Transport:
  Escort clients to medical, dental, foster care, court, and recreation appointments
• Basic Assistance:
  Provide simple information to clients and community members
• Daily Support:
  Help clients and families with routine tasks such as home care, meal planning, and budgeting
• Item Delivery:
  Pick up and deliver clothing, equipment, and other items as needed
• Clerical Duties:
  Complete tasks such as mail handling, filing, answering calls, typing, and message relay
• Record Support:
  Assist with maintaining case files including reviews, data entry, and notes

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework:
  You will not have the option to telework in this position.

• Graduation from high school; or
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
