TE's Mt Joy site is part of the Aerospace Defense & Marine Segment, innovating for aerospace.

This position is on our 2nd shift (4 pm–2 am, Monday–Thursday). Shift premium 10% on hourly rate. Overtime available and may be required during increased volume.

• Preparing machines and equipment for daily use.
• Perform changeover and set‑up functions.
• Communicate with technicians and supervisors about issues during operations.
• Use inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation, and make necessary adjustments; understand gauging and visual inspection tooling, maintain attention to detail.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot, set up, assemble, and resolve flow issues.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets standards.
• Identify product defects and complete documentation and notification when defects are identified.
• Maintain a safe work environment, perform daily hour‑by‑hour checks, 5S, autonomous maintenance checks, material issuing, and other documentation.
• Train and be flexible between jobs and equipment, depending on workload.

• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing set‑up operations and handling change‑over responsibilities.
• Experience with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot assembly machines or equipment.
• Proficiency with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection.
• Proven record of using inspection data to make mechanical and program changes to achieve part specifications.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately set up and assemble products.
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Understanding of GD&T is a plus.
• This position requires access to information subject to ITAR/EAR. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
• High school diploma or GED required.
