Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility is to fabricate in‑tolerance finished conveyor belts according to order requirements and established processes. The role includes fabrication tasks such as Cut To Length, Lacing, Finger Splicing and Slitting, as well as assisting with belt installation at customer facilities.
Responsibilities- Become proficient in all processes and concepts for Belt Technology competencies.
- Observe and follow safety rules, company policy and the employee handbook.
- Complete shop orders using the Production Priority Code system with zero fabrication errors.
- Meet quality standards and customer‑specific requirements.
- Support internal and external customers with timely delivery.
- Maintain housekeeping of the assigned workstation.
- Clarify unusual fabrication instructions with the Team Lead.
- Assist in other areas as needed to support plant goals.
- Assist with belt installation at customers’ facilities in a professional and courteous manner.
- Complete any additional special assignments as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, Technical/Trade School or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicle.
- Prior manufacturing experience operating machinery and using hand tools.
- Ability to read and comprehend shop orders and drawings in English.
- Ability to read and interpret measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales).
- Basic math skills with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and metrics.
- U.S. citizenship or legal status to work in the United States.

- Occasionally walk, use foot to operate machine, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders, move from place to place.

- Occasionally lift up to 50 lb and frequently lift up to 25 lb.
- Requires good vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
