Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you take the lead in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work hands‑on with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and preventing downtime. This role is ideal for problem‑solvers who enjoy working with their hands and want to grow technical skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating reliably.
- Locate and obtain parts needed for repairs and daily tasks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Respond quickly to equipment issues to prevent downtime or safety risks.
- Complete assigned work orders and communicate progress to leadership.
- Assist other departments when needed and support team members.
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Solid math and reading comprehension skills.
- Provide required personal tools.
- Willing to participate in ongoing training or apprenticeship programs.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Climb ladders and work in various positions.
- Comfortable working around oils, grease, inks, and solvents.
- Possess good manual dexterity and 20/20 corrected vision.
- Able to distinguish colors for inspection and troubleshooting.
- Hourly rate: $29.75 plus shift differential.
- Schedule:
7:00pm–7:00am following a 2‑2‑3 shift cycle (every other weekend off).
