Production Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure processes comply with FDA regulations.
• Complete assigned training modules.
• Identify and prevent deviations; assist with investigation and root cause analysis.
• Assist with deviation investigations, CAPA, Change Control Requests (CCR), and other assigned projects.
• Complete quality documents (Batch Production Records and logbooks) accurately, on time, and in real-time.
• Prepare areas for the next shift to maintain smooth operations.
• Use materials efficiently to reduce waste.
• Share improvement ideas, issues, and concerns with solutions.
• Proactively identify and resolve production issues.
• Model and uphold HSE standards and comply with safety procedures.
• Report safety concerns, near misses, equipment issues, and environmental incidents promptly.
• Participate in safety meetings, walkthroughs, and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; perform required checks/inspections.
• Support continuous improvement through corrective/preventive action input.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma with 0–6 months of experience.
• Good mechanical and computer skills; detail-oriented.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; comprehension/retention skills; troubleshooting; manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in at least one area of operation or product line.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6-month experience in a cGMP environment or pharmaceutical experience.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand ~8 hours/shift.
• Ability to gown and enter manufacturing areas.
• Twelve-hour rotating shift; every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
• May be required to flex to another platform/department/building and work off-shift hours based on business need.
• May include aseptic processing area work.
• (Fine print) Influenza-vaccine required for certain influenza roles; aseptic gowning qualification required for certain aseptic roles.
