About the Role

As a Thermoforming Technician, you’ll gain hands‑on experience with thermoforming and extrusion equipment, learn foundational mechanical and process‑related skills, and work alongside experienced technicians who will help you grow.

Key Responsibilities- Follow and comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate safe work behaviors and follow all critical safety rules.
- Support production floor operations to meet daily output and quality goals.
- Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report production status and issues to the Thermoform Supervisor or Manager.
- Support the Quality Assurance team by identifying and reporting problem areas.
- Assist with testing and evaluating new and advanced resins.
- Help orient and support the training of new employees.
- Prioritize and communicate machine or process issues to leadership.
- Complete required daily efficiency and production documentation.
- Ensure samples are completed and documented accurately.
- Assist with verifying timecards for payroll accuracy when assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Thermoform Supervisor or Manager.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal communication skills, including use of radios or paging systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and reliability.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing, extrusion, or thermoforming experience preferred but not required.
- Prior experience as an Inspector, Packer, Operator, or Floater is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, materials, and processes.
- Ability to work assigned shift and extended hours as needed.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs with assistance occasionally.
- Ability to push or pull loads over 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 7 hours in an 8‑hour shift.
- Ability to bend, lift, and shovel material as needed.
- Ability to work in dusty or smoky environments intermittently.
- Hearing sufficient to respond to alarms and forklift horns.
- Vision requirements: 20/40 or better with peripheral vision of at least 70 degrees.
- Ability to read 10–12‑point font at a distance of 12–18 inches.
- Ability to use both hands effectively and work overhead or in awkward positions.
- Ability to climb ladders safely and without assistance.
- Compensation: $21.53 per hour plus shift differential.
- Work Schedule:
3rd Shift, 11:00PM – 7:30AM.
