Technician - Maintenance III_SCR; Night Shift

Position: Technician - Maintenance III_SCR (Night Shift 6pm to 6am)
$32.50 to start.

12 hour shifts and 4x4 nights.

6pm to 6am

Essential Functions Statement(s)

* Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times

* Assists in creating, designing, developing, and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and

Line Leads.

* Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.

* Support and leads workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).

* Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks

* Leads and improves preventative maintenance process on the shift, suggesting equipment/part/tooling modifications

* Contributes to line commissioning after maintenance/process events

* Leads, assists, and participates with other plant projects as needed

* Operates in a manner that provides value to the team

* Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Advanced education and/or related certification(s) a plus

Experience:

Five to seven years in a similar position

Computer

Skills:

Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Certifications &

Licenses:

Forklift certified;

1. Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude (test results above 80%)

2. Knowledge of PLC Logic technology required (test results above 70%)

3. Thorough understanding of the Timber Tech blending systems (test results above 80%)

* In lieu of the testing in the above three lines, the following knowledge/licenses/certifications would

be accepted:
Ohio HVAC or Refrigeration Contractor licenses, Portable fire extinguishers, Backflow

Inspection certifications/licenses, and thorough understanding of the Timber Tech plant support

systems such as blowers, chilled water system and compressor systems working unassisted with

minimal assistance.

The following certifications/qualifications would be a plus:
Ohio Automatic sprinklers and standpipe

systems, Fire service mains, Fire pumps, Fire alarm and detection equipment certifications, Stick

and wire welding experience with passage of a pass/fail welding test. Structural welding certification,

a plus

Other Requirements:
Meet requirements established by TRAK program;
Proven experience in working unassisted with and

troubleshooting:
Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic

Systems;
Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing

environment;
Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus;

Ability to read and update electrical/mechanical drawings;
Strong decision making, analytical skills

and proven ability to work cross-functionally;
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving

abilities;
Strong mathematical skills;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate

upward and downward to a wide range of audiences;
Must be self-directed and motivated and able

to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment;
Thorough understanding of the

Timber Tech plant support systems such as blowers, chilled water system and compressor systems

working unassisted with occasional assistance.
