Press Brake and Roll Form Operator

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a First Shift (6AM – 2:30PM) Press Brake and Roll Form Operator based in Reamstown, PA. The Press Brake and Roll Form Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and performing simple programming to the brake press and shear. They will also be responsible for setting up and operating other types of metal forming equipment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE:
Base Salary $20/hr – $26/hr with mandatory overtime as needed. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

• Set up the brake press and other metal forming equipment to bend, notch, punch, or straighten various parts
• Prepare, load and unload material for operation
• Check width, length, and angles of metal as listed on blueprints or specification drawings
• Read and understand work orders and/or drawings to produce required parts for finished products
• Inspect parts for defects after being processed and take action if needed

• High School Diploma and/or GED Certification
• 2+ years of experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Reading and understanding blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Ability to use protractor, calipers and tape measure
• Knowledge and understanding of basic arithmetic
• Strong mechanical abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
