The Factory Manager will lead plant operations across manufacturing, production, engineering coordination, and operational improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and employee development while building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the facility.
The EnvironmentThis role operates within a hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment supporting engineered industrial products and operationally complex manufacturing processes. The position works closely with supervisors, engineers, operations leadership, and production teams to ensure operational efficiency and manufacturing performance goals are achieved.
The environment is highly collaborative and execution-focused, requiring a leader who can operate effectively on the shop floor while also driving strategic operational initiatives, process improvements, and long-term manufacturing performance.

- Strong leadership and development of supervisors, engineers, and production personnel
- Effective implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Improved accountability, communication, and operational execution across the facility
- Reduction in operational costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards
- Strong engagement with shop floor operations and employee development
- Successful management of capital projects, operational improvements, and process optimization
- Building scalable manufacturing processes and operational infrastructure to support future growth
- Driving a culture centered around safety, accountability, and operational excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within industrial or engineered product environments
- Prior experience leading plant, factory, or operations teams within manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives
- Experience supporting assembly operations and manufacturing process improvements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and hands-on operational engagement
- Experience managing supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional manufacturing teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems including MRP, forecasting, labor planning, costing, and operational metrics
- Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or operational transformation initiatives is highly valuable
- Strong communication, accountability, and team development capabilities
