** Technician I, Molding & Tooling Engineering
** supporting production, you will work on
** precision mold tooling, machining support, and injection molding processes
** at
** Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania
** driving quality, uptime, and process efficiency.
** In this role, a typical day will include:**
* ** Manufacture and modify tooling
** for production using
** manual machines (milling, grinding, lathe)
** and
** CNC equipment**, including
** G-code/M-code programming and CAM software.
*** Read and interpret
** blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
** to ensure accurate tooling and part fabrication.
* ** Troubleshoot machine tooling issues**, applying strong
** analytical and problem-solving skills
** to minimize downtime and resolve production backlogs.
* Execute
** machine*
* ** tool setup, fixturing, and process
** to machine parts to drawing.
* Maintain
** documentation and compliance (GxP, SOPs)
** while supporting production needs and demonstrating a dependable, self-motivated, inquisitive mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent
* The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
