Tri‑Arc is seeking steel MIG welders for 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm – additional $0.60 per hour) for our plant located in Blawnox, PA. Tri‑Arc offers a competitive starting rate of $24.33 (1st shift) and $24.93 (2nd Shift). Tri‑Arc also offers a generous benefit package, and the right candidate(s) will have the opportunity to join the United Steelworkers Union after completing 520 probationary hours.
All candidates are required to take and pass a welding test and bring their own welding gear. This is an excellent opportunity for welders who like a challenge and want to become a skilled craftsman. Join us!
- Set up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.
- Assemble, align, and clamp work pieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat‑treat, or solder fabricated metal components.
- Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together (usually in fixtures).
- Bolts, clamps, and tack‑welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding equipment.
- Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
- Operates various punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube bending equipment.
- Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Experience:
Welding: 6 months to 1 year
