Senior Performance Test Engineer
Lead II - Software Testing
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies including load, stress, endurance, scalability, and spike testing.
- Develop and maintain Load Runner scripts (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Dynatrace, identifying bottlenecks and conducting root‑cause analysis.
- Analyze system metrics such as CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network utilization across environments.
- Execute and validate performance tests for AWS-based architectures, including EC2, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch, and Lambda.
- Collaborate with application architects, developers, Dev Ops, and SRE teams to recommend tuning and optimization strategies.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Prepare and present clear performance reports and dashboards for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to performance engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- OR Equivalent relevant professional experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Must‑Have: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in performance testing using Load Runner.
- Strong proficiency with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and diagnostics.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch, and Lambda.
- Basic to intermediate Linux skills, including shell scripting, system monitoring, and file management.
- Familiarity with scripting languages:
Shell, Bash or Korn. - Solid understanding of system architecture, cloud computing, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience analyzing and correlating performance data across application, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High‑quality documentation and stakeholder coordination abilities.

Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000
