Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc., established in 1994, isheadquarteredin Bridgeville, PA, with plants in North Jackson, OH, Dunkirk, NY, and Titusville, PA. Universal Stainless produces semi-finished and finished specialty steel long products and plate including stainless steel, tool steel, bearing steel, gear steel, and aircraft quality low alloy steels for use in a variety of industries, some you may know:

Universal Stainless is seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as manufacturing Metallurgical Interns to assist with routine metallurgical and physical analysis and laboratory testing of submitted or self-collected samples of materials used in products and manufacturing processes.

The Metallurgical Intern position is a minimum 12-week assignment for Summer 2026
.

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s level degree program from an accredited institution in Materials Science (Metallurgical components) or Metallurgy with an expected graduation date of August 2026 or thereafter.
