Hunter Shore Group has been retained by a rapidly growing food manufacturing organization to identify a Vice President of Manufacturing / Head of Manufacturing to lead operations across multiple facilities.
This newly created executive leadership role will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in driving operational performance, manufacturing excellence, and organizational scalability.
We are seeking a proven manufacturing leader with a track record of improving plant performance, building strong leadership teams, and leading operational transformation initiatives within complex food manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead manufacturing operations across multiple production facilities.
- Drive improvements in OEE, yield, throughput, labor efficiency, and operational reliability.
- Establish manufacturing structure, discipline, accountability, and performance management systems.
- Develop and mentor Plant Managers and site leadership teams.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Finance.
- Support commercialization, capital projects, and future growth initiatives.
- Build a culture focused on safety, execution, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience within the food industry.
- Experience leading multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrated success improving OEE, reducing waste, increasing yield, and driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership and talent development capabilities.
- Proven success leading operational turnaround, transformation, or scale-up initiatives.
This is not a maintenance role.
The organization is investing heavily in its manufacturing capabilities and is seeking a hands‑on operational leader who can build structure, improve performance, and help shape the next phase of growth. The successful candidate will have significant visibility with executive leadership and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the business.
