Maintenance Technician II
Join NES Fircroft, where innovation meets precision in the power generation and aerospace industries. As a Maintenance Technician II, you’ll play a crucial role maintaining and enhancing cutting‑edge production equipment that drives engine efficiency. This fully on‑site position offers the opportunity to work nights (3rd shift: 10pm–6am or 2nd shift: 2pm–10pm) within a dynamic, safety‑focused environment committed to technical excellence and environmental responsibility.
What You’ll Do:- Perform predictive, preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and electro‑mechanical systems.
- Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, including motor starters, variable frequency drives, and servo controls.
- Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
- Rebuild, install, and repair centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
- Install piping, conduit, and raceway systems as needed.
- Support facilities and building maintenance.
- Accurately document maintenance work using computerized maintenance management (CMM) systems.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair abilities.
- Proficiency working with CNC, PLCs, and other electronic controls.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical schematics.
- Commitment to following all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment, including arc flash and fall protection gear.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with centrifugal and diaphragm pumps, servo systems, and industrial controls.
- Familiarity with government‑regulated technical data and export restrictions.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing environments adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or technical/trade school certification in a relevant field with at least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; OR
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person, meeting U.S. Government export restrictions (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals).
- Ability to work 3rd shift (10pm–6am) or 2nd shift (2pm–10pm) as assigned.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Ability to wear and utilize specialized personal protective equipment safely.
