Production & Fulfillment Associate

Overview

spotLESS Materials is an exciting startup spinning out multifunctional anti-fouling coating technology developed by Penn State researchers with the mission of using technology to make a positive global impact across numerous industries. Based in Centre Hall, PA, spotLESS Materials is currently seeking candidates for a Production & Fulfillment Associate position to support our company’s product manufacturing and order fulfillment operations. This is a full-time, entry-level position.

• Label, bottle, shrink wrap and inventory products.
• Box and fulfill orders.
• Perform other product manufacturing and fulfillment activities, such as receive, sort, load, and unload production materials.
• Use online software to manage and print shipping labels and manifests.
• Follow all company, laboratory safety, and hygiene regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time.
• Attention to detail with excellent communication skills (via email, Slack, etc.).
• Ability to respond to verbal and written direction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and use computer software programs (e.g., labeling).

• The position requires the physical dexterity to perform inventory, manufacturing, packing, shipping, and receiving duties.
• Regular repetitive tasks using manually operated systems (e.g., bottle labeling, liquid dispensing, bottle capping).
• Frequent bending and stretching to pack and move items; regular lifting of items up to 30 pounds.

This role involves chemical/material handling, so familiarity/working knowledge of laboratory safety is a plus. Laboratory experience may lead to additional opportunities for this position, commensurate with experience.
