Drug Plastics Corporate Office is looking for you to join our R&D team! As a Mold Machinist you utilize engineering drawings and 3D files to construct or repair molds as well as designs and cut metal to exact measurements using both manually controlled and automated machine tools. Precision is critical and dies must maintain proper clearance to produce parts accurately.

- Operate machine tools, including but not limited to:
Manual and CNC lathes, milling machines and grinding machines - Operate power tools, including: die grinders and rotary tools
- Use hand tools such as files and honing stones
- Utilize computer aided technologies, (CNC, CAM, and Conversational Programming).
- Communicate any component damage and/or maintenance issues to the Technical Services Manager.
- Prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
- Successful Completion of relevant machinist program
- Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience
- Strong Mechanical background
- Use Milling Machines, Lathes, Grinders, and Hand Tools to very close tolerances
- Prior experience working with Aluminum, Beryllium, Copper, and Stainless Steel strongly preferred
- Ability to follow specific procedures
- Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Effective communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English
- Safety
- Lift at least 75 pounds
- Frequently bend, squat, climb, and reach above shoulder level
- Climb and utilize ladders and scaffolds
- Walk and stand for the majority of the job
