Job Description:

Content creator/graphic designer supports Autism Cares Foundation’s mission by producing engaging, timely, and accessible digital content that elevates our brand and amplifies our impact. This role blends hands-on content creation (photo/video capture and editing) with graphic design to support social media, digital marketing, and campaign initiatives.

This position is proactive and field-oriented, requiring someone who understands social media trends, knows how to create share‑worthy and potentially viral content, and actively seeks opportunities to capture authentic moments that tell ACF’s story across platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media (Primary Focus)

  • Proactively capture high-quality photo and video content at ACF events, programs, and community engagements
  • Edit and produce short‑form and long‑form video content optimized for social media platforms
  • Identify, understand, and utilize current social media and design trends to increase engagement and reach
  • Develop content with the goal of building high‑performing and potentially viral posts or campaigns
  • Collaborate with staff to plan content needs in advance of events to avoid reliance on excessive re‑edits or filler work
  • Manage a consistent content pipeline aligned with campaign and organizational goals.

Graphic Design & Visual Assets

  • Design mission‑aligned graphics for:
    • Social media and digital campaigns
    • Website and email assets
    • Print collateral (flyers, posters, brochures, reports)
    • Event and awareness materials
  • Maintain consistency with ACF brand guidelines across all visuals
  • Translate ACF’s mission, values, and messaging into compelling, inclusive visual designs
  • Prepare print‑ready and web‑optimized files

Digital Marketing Support

  • Support paid and organic digital efforts, including:
    • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads
    • Linked In campaigns
    • Google Ads and basic SEO optimization
  • Analyze performance data to optimize content effectiveness over time
  • Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining quality
  • Work cross‑functionally with staff to support outreach, fundraising, and awareness initiatives
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree or higher in marketing, digital media, communications, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, or a related area
  • Demonstrate experience building high‑engagement or viral social media content or campaigns
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices

Technical Skills

  • Photo and video capture and editing skills (mobile and/or camera-based)
  • Graphic design experience and familiarity with design tools
  • Experience with social media and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Bloomerang)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email platforms

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to commute throughout the local tri‑county area
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively without padding hours
  • Self‑starter with a proactive, positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of ethics, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Respectful and professional when working with coworkers and community members
  • Current security clearances (PA State Police Criminal Record Check, a PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and an FBI Criminal History Background Check).

Working Conditions:

Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions, 10-20 hours a week, will require evenings and occasional weekends. Travel includes attendance at ACF programs, community events, fundraisers, partner activities, and special initiatives to capture original photo and video content. Travel expectations are tied directly to content capture needs.

Physical Environment:

Normal office and field-based working conditions. Hybrid schedule requiring in‑person attendance for events, programs, and content capture.
