Paige Cognetti's congressional campaign is hiring Field Organizers to organize communities across Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Wayne, and Pike counties. Organizers will report to the Field Director and will be responsible for managing all volunteer activity in a designated turf within the district.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to participate in direct voter contact in support of Paige Cognetti
• Build strong, impactful relationships with local leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations to support the campaign
• Plan, manage, and execute volunteer events (e.g. organizing meetings, phone banks, canvasses) throughout the district
• Track and report volunteer engagement and voter contact work on a daily basis
• Assist in office management and organization
• Collaborate with other Field Organizers and team members to ensure program consistency and coverage across the district
• Execute direct voter contact such as canvassing, phone banking, and text banking as needed Other duties as assigned in support of the campaign's broader goals

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with volunteers, and communicate effectively and clearly
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and hit metric goals in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible, adaptable, team player with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Access to a vehicle; travel within the district is required
• Access to a smartphone, laptop, and comfortable working with technology including voter databases, social media platforms, and SMS

Preferred, but not required:

• Prior organizing or campaign experience (in a paid or volunteer capacity)
• Experience with CRMs such as VAN/Vote builder
