Job Description
Travel Med Surg Tele RN - 13 Week Contract
Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide direct nursing care for general medical and surgical patients, including those undergoing short stay procedures, orthopedic treatments, and stroke recovery. Additional patient care includes monitoring remote telemetry patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IVs
• Conduct assessments and document vital signs
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing (e.g., blood glucose)
• Insert Foley catheters and manage complex patient needs
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required
• Current RN license in good standing
