Tuesday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm. No weekend or holidays. 2‑3 years of experience in Med/Surg or OR RN with procedural experience preferred.

Job DescriptionThe professional RN delivers patient‑centered care using the nursing process and evidence‑based practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interacts with coworkers, patients, family/designated care partners, and other staff consistent with Jefferson values.
- Integrates evidence‑based practice, clinical expertise, patient preferences, and cultural beliefs for optimal healthcare delivery.
- Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and priorities, providing education that is useful, understandable, and affirming.
- Minimizes patient harm by following established nursing practices, protocols and individual performance standards.
- Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision‑making.
- Uses data to monitor outcomes of care processes and applies improvement methods to design and test changes that continuously improve quality and safety.
- Functions effectively within nursing and inter‑professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision‑making.
- Creates an environment of belonging and inclusion, demonstrating problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Demonstrates commitment to learning and seeks opportunities for professional growth and development, acting in a preceptor role as appropriate.
- Actively participates in hospital‑ and practice setting‑based committees, including safety and quality improvement, and integrates feedback into practice.
Education – Required
:
Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Education – Preferred
:
Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3years of hire.
Experience – Preferred
: 1year previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting.
