• Perform nursing tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with treatments, and supporting activities of daily living.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and record all related actions accurately.
• Provide first aid, CPR, or AED support during medical emergencies as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and prepare reports needed for care continuity.
• Communicate important information to nursing, custody, and administrative staff to support safe operations.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain proper inventory levels for treatment areas.

• Full‑time employment, 40‑hour work week.
• Work shifts cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm; 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.
• Eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
• Telework: not available for this position.
• Starting annual salary: $67,558.00 (before taxes).

• Active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within one year as defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• If within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply. At the time of appointment you must provide proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
