Join the Gino Merli Veterans' Center as a Registered Nurse with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. • Resident Care:
  Provide nursing treatment, monitor conditions, and update care plans based on resident needs
• Medication Oversight:
  Dispense medications, review records, and check that assigned personnel follow proper procedures
• Team Leadership:
  Guide staff, assign tasks, and address concerns to maintain safe and effective care
• Communication Duties:
  Share important changes with supervisors, physicians, and families as needed
• Safety Practices:
  Follow all safety rules, report hazards, and use required protective equipment
• Documentation Tasks:
  Maintain accurate records, complete assessments, and support audits and reviews

• Full-time employment (12 hours/day; 37.5 hours/week)
• Positions are available on:
  • 2nd shift (6:30 PM - 7:30 AM) with a 30-minute lunch
  • Working 2 week schedule:
    Mon, Thur, Fri, Sat, Tue, Fri
• Telework:
  You will no6t have the option to telework in this position
• Salary:
  Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $84,264.00 (before taxes)

• This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one‑year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title
• If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this posting. At the time of appointment you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license
• You must be able to perform essential job functions

• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act
