Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Scranton, Pennsylvania

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

• Provide direct nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and surgical (circulating RN) patients
• Manage PACU recovery for both the patient and neonate following delivery
• Monitor and care for 1–2 laboring patients per assignment within an 11-bed unit with 3-bed triage, 2-bed PACU, and 2 operating rooms
• Utilize facility EMR systems (Cerner and GE Centricity) for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to other units as required per facility need

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course

• Experience with Cerner and/or GE Centricity EMR systems
• Familiarity with circulating RN responsibilities in a Labor and Delivery surgical setting

• Opportunity to work in a well-equipped Labor and Delivery unit with a defined patient ratio and structured scheduling
• Hospital-provided scrubs supplied each shift
