Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Scranton, PA | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

• Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and medication administration
• Conduct vital signs monitoring and thorough assessment documentation
• Perform point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring
• Assist with Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) as needed
• Maintain a 1:6 patient ratio within a 30-bed unit
• Float to other units as required per facility policy

• Active RN licensure (or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

• Experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with RSI assistance protocols
• Ability to adapt to floating requirements across multiple units

• Immediate start available with a 13-week contract in a well-established acute care setting
• Work within a structured unit environment with a defined patient ratio and clear scope of practice
