Lewis Veterinary Clinic is a two-doctor small animal practice in Linden, Pennsylvania, where we believe you can provide exceptional patient care and still have a life outside the hospital. We’re looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant who loves animals, enjoys helping people, and thrives in a supportive, team-first environment.

- Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from patient intake through discharge
- Safely handle and restrain patients using low-stress techniques whenever possible
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs
- Perform in-house laboratory testing, including CBCs, chemistry panels, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
- Prepare patients and equipment for surgical procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive care throughout recovery
- Provide supportive patient care, including TPRs, pain scoring, and wound care
- Educate clients about preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records
- Collaborate with doctors and teammates to keep the hospital running smoothly
- Assist with client communication and front-desk needs when necessary
- Current Veterinary Technician credential preferred
