Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Biologist II to support the In Vivo Pharmacology team. This role involves executing pharmacology studies in rodent disease models supporting research in infectious diseases, immunology, and neuroscience
. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on laboratory animal experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to quickly learn new in vivo techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform rodent handling and dosing (oral gavage, intranasal, intratracheal, intravaginal, IP, IM, IV, and SC injections).
  • Conduct blood collection (tail vein, submandibular, and terminal cardiac puncture).
  • Perform necropsies, tissue collection, bronchoalveolar lavage, fecal and vaginal sample collection.
  • Support in vitro/ex vivo activities including aseptic technique, bacterial culture, formulation preparation, and tissue/blood processing.
  • Coordinate study logistics, including scheduling and sample/formulation management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure high‑quality data generation, and comply with safety and training requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional research teams and adapt to new laboratory techniques.
Qualifications Education
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience working with laboratory animals.
  • Experience with in vivo rodent procedures, dosing, blood collection, and tissue processing.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn complex laboratory techniques and work independently in a fast‑paced research environment.
