Neuroblastoma Fellowship – The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada
OverviewWe are looking for an advanced Canadian or international oncology fellow to join our solid tumour section for a mixed clinical/research fellowship for the upcoming academic year. The fellowship focuses on complex neuroblastoma patients.
Training Focus- Outpatient neuroblastoma clinic program
- Translational research in labs with neuroblastoma‑related projects
- Experimental therapies/protocol development
- MIBG program
The fellowship duration and activities can be personalized to the applicant’s interests.
Program DetailsOur program sees about 25 new patients per year and provides local, national, and international consultations, including patients with refractory neuroblastoma and genetic predisposition.
Active research projects include tumor‑initiating cells/cancer stem cells, murine and zebrafish metastatic models, drug screening, neuroblastoma cell signaling and apoptosis, and precision oncology care.
