Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our team in Lancaster, PA
. This role supports daily food service operations and works collaboratively with the dietary and clinical teams to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
.
- Status: PRN
- Hours: 14 hours per week
- Schedule:
- 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $15.00/hour or per contract based on experience
- Assist in serving meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Support the cook with basic meal preparation tasks as directed
- Clean and sanitize worktables, refrigerators, freezers, meat blocks, and kitchen equipment
- Deliver meal trays to resident rooms and dining areas
- Transport used trays, dishes, and utensils to the dishwashing area
- Follow all dietary department procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
