Part‑Time Sales Associate – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (ILSC)
We’re hiring friendly, motivated individuals for our Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. The role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, stocking inventory, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.
SalarySalary: $17.38 per hour. Fixed pay; not negotiable.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage sales transactions using a computerized cash register.
- Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
- Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders for vehicle loading.
- Lift products weighing 30–60 pounds safely.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Use scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Enforce legal guidelines on alcohol sales.
- Collaborate in a friendly, team‑oriented environment.
- Permanent, part‑time employment.
- Location:
Wilkes‑Barre Township Marketplace. - Free onsite parking; nearby dining and attractions.
- Preferred availability: 20–24 hours per week, minimum 13 hours per week.
- Store hours:
Mon‑Sat 9 am–10 pm;
Sun 11 am–7 pm. - Shifts typically 4–6 hours, rotating weekdays and weekends.
- Work hours may vary; up to 32 hours per week possible.
- No telework available.
- May be assigned to other stores within the county; cannot transfer.
- Benefits:
Affordable Care Act/Bronze Plan from first day; additional benefits apply.
- Minimum age 18.
- Meet Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
- Pass background investigation; felony convictions within 10 years disqualify.
