Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FWGS) Store in McMurray is looking for a Full‑Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk
2) – apply today!

As a Sales Team Lead, you will support daily store operations by leading clerks, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and well‑organized store environment. Your work will help create a positive shopping experience for every customer and support store collaboration with the FWGS management team.

Responsibilities
  • Work Leadership: Oversee, train, and participate in the work of other clerks to support smooth store operations
  • Customer Support: Assist shoppers with locating products and answer their questions and promptly resolve product related issues
  • Sales Operations: Operate a cash register; follow procedure to ensure alcohol is only sold to customers who are legally allowed to buy it
  • Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, build displays, and help keep the store clean and organized
  • Reporting Tasks: Complete shift documentation including inventory and accounting reports
  • Staff Training: Provide on‑the‑job guidance to clerks and reinforce store policies and procedures
Work Schedule and Additional Information
  • Free – Secure – Onsite Parking
  • Full‑time employment
  • Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly
  • This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed
  • Telework: This position does not allow telework
  • Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable
Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Six months of retail sales work

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions
Legal Requirements
  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis
