Night Crew
Location:
Biglerville, PA 17307. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 / hour.

- Greet, respond to questions, and explain store policies to guests in a courteous manner.
- Prepare the back room for receipt of merchandise, unload trucks, and sort cases according to aisle or pallet.
- Clean store floors, check lanes, carts, restrooms, parking lot, and shelves, safely using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Load stocking carts and pallets, transport cases to sales floor, match the case strip to the shelf tag or stock, place merchandise in the designated area, and "face" the front row of each display.
- Ensure safety of self, guests and teammates by following store safety rules and notifying a supervisor of any potential hazard.
- Remove all broken containers, packing materials, boxes, and trash from the sales floor or guests’ pathway immediately.
- Operate baler, case cutter, pallet jack and forklift (must be 18 years or older to operate pallet jack, forklift, baler, and cutters).
- Count and record individual items of merchandise for inventory.
- Manually price mark/label merchandise without an UPC code.
- Move damaged, unsalable or "returnable" products from shelves to the backroom, sorting the materials into bins for return to damage reclaim center.
- Use proper case opening and product stacking techniques to prevent damage to merchandise.
- Remove trash from the aisle, operate the baler, put the compacted bale on a pallet and load salvage onto trucks.
- Change signs, light bulbs, tags and price markers on the shelf display.
- Assist cashiers by bagging and carrying out merchandise when needed.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, substituting for absent workers and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to guests during peak periods of business.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
- No specific mathematical skills required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
