BAKESHOP RETAIL TEAM MEMBER

The Bakeshop – Kitchen Kettle Village

Intercourse, Pa | Part-time | $13-$15 per hour based on experience and availability

The Bakeshop Retail Team Member helps spread happiness by creating exceptional experiences and lasting memories for our guests in the Jelly Room and Bake Shop. This role focuses on the sales and stocking of baked goods while supporting a guest-friendly, welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every guest, smiling, and maintaining strong product knowledge and service standards.
• Monitor and ensure all baked goods are properly dated, labeled, rotated, and not held or sold past the agreed-upon shelf life.
• Help monitor inventory levels of baked goods and samples to keep displays full and minimize waste.
• Assist in fulfilling mail orders and large special orders as required.
• Help maintain a clean and organized baking area and rotate stock between freezers.
• Check and record temperatures for freezers, coolers, and reach-ins at designated times and record required inventory management data.
• Help create and submit bakery orders to ensure full displays.
• Accurately total purchases, handle all forms of payment, make correct change, and wrap or bag guest purchases effectively.

What You’ll Do

• Open and/or close the Cookie Counter and Floor & Stock areas as needed.

• Help monitor inventory levels of baked goods and samples to keep displays full and minimize waste.
• Assist in fulfilling mail orders and large special orders as required.
