Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Automation (Northeast US)
We’re working with a global automation company expanding its presence across the U.S. This role sits at the center of that growth. This is not a plug-and-play territory. It’s a strategic role focused on building long-term business, developing key accounts, and driving adoption of advanced automation solutions.
What you’ll be doing- Drive growth across a Northeast territory through new business and account development
- Call into OEMs, system integrators, and end users at both engineering and leadership levels
- Position motion, control, and automation solutions in complex applications
- Build relationships from plant floor to executive level within key accounts
- Develop and execute territory strategy to win specifications and long-term programs
- Coordinate with global technical teams to support customer solutions
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements
- Established global platform with strong technical backing
- Visible growth investment in North America
- True ownership of territory strategy and execution
- Balanced role: new business + strategic account development
- Technical, value-based selling environment (not transactional)
- 10+ years in industrial automation sales
- Background in motion control, drives, PLCs, HMIs, or similar technologies
- Experience selling into OEMs, integrators, or manufacturing environments
- Comfortable navigating both technical discussions and commercial strategy
- Proven ability to build relationships across organizations and drive long-cycle opportunities
- Self-directed and comfortable operating across a broad territory
- KPI-driven bonus structure
