Position Overview
AKE Safety Equipment, a national market‑leading manufacturer of fire safety equipment, is seeking confident, driven, experienced outside sales representatives located in agricultural areas nationwide. The role involves selling our flagship product, STOP‑FYRE, directly to farmers by traveling farm‑to‑farm within protected territories. Sales representatives earn a 100% straight commission structure with significant weekly performance bonuses, allowing them to earn a total compensation of $90,816 per year or more, with top performers earning over $200,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with farmers and other agricultural customers.
- Drive farm‑to‑farm to demonstrate and sell STOP‑FYRE fire extinguishers.
- Manage a protected territory to meet or exceed sales targets and commission goals.
- Maintain product knowledge and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Many years of sales experience, preferably in outside sales or direct‑to‑consumer markets.
- Strong competitive drive and a proven track record of winning sales.
- Connection to the agricultural community (grown up on or worked in farming, or regularly conducted business with farmers).
- Background in construction and/or excavation (experience in construction, sales to construction, or owning a construction business).
- Entrepreneurial mindset—self‑driven, self‑motivated, and business‑oriented.
- Commitment to helping others (experience in firefighting, law enforcement, military, or EMT is a plus).
