Position Overview

We are hiring a Market Development Manager to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved. This territory‑based role requires the candidate to live within the specific region of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently engage field leadership to communicate our retailer and customer value propositions and align on mutual business objectives
  • Conduct business reviews with retail partner field leadership to identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies and tactics to overcome growth inhibitors
  • Work with business leaders to influence and motivate them to meet and exceed business commitments and drive channel sales
  • Educate and inform teams on products, solutions, technology and available options to drive channel
  • Work effectively cross‑functionally to resolve and assess a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggest variations in approach to field and account management
  • Coordinate with people managers across the sales organization to ensure necessary field support for retail partner locations based on gathered insights and data
  • Create strategic plans that can be effectively communicated and executed across teams to achieve business objectives
  • Use tools and resources, including , to track activities, resolve and share work progress
  • Consistently exceed GMV targets and grow LTO applications through strategic and practical execution of a plan
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans, measure their effectiveness, and evaluate impact on business
  • Resolve compliance cases as necessary to ensure retailers accurately represent Progressive Leasing solutions and options in a timely manner
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, including driving to visit retail stores
Qualifications
  • Experience in the wireless industry (preferred)
  • 6+ years of relevant sales and/or channel management experience
  • Professional who consistently exceeds quota and grows channel business
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to set goals, gain commitments, and hold accountability for performance in channel
  • Exceptional collaboration, relationship building and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Experience with  or other CRM tools required
  • Ability to build successful business plans and gain commitments with leaders
