Job Overview
Account Manager (US Accounts) reporting to the Vice President, Account Management. Responsible for the development, management, and growth of assigned US accounts.
Location and Working HoursUnited States – works in our office, hybrid or remote. Full‑time, permanent. 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Manage stakeholder relationships within the client’s business, IT, and operations units to ensure clear expectations and support needed to achieve engagement objectives.
- Drive account growth by prospecting, evaluating, and proposing additional Equisoft products and services to support the client’s business and technology goals.
- Manage the P&L for each account, meeting or exceeding the profitability goals set by Equisoft.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, manage, and implement customer projects related to Equisoft’s products and services, ensuring all commitments are met.
- Create an annual account plan aligned with client and Equisoft objectives, detailing opportunities, relationship nurturance, and account risks; report regularly on plan progress.
- Technical Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in account management, relationship management, and/or business development.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Insurance and/or Wealth Distribution market (advisors, brokers, general agents, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of program and project management.
- Experience with proposal creation and contract management.
- Consulting experience in IT and/or the insurance industry.
- Willingness to travel 30–40% monthly.
- Excellent written and oral English proficiency.
- Soft‑skills: proven ability to interact with and build executive‑level client relationships; strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiating skills; organizational and prioritization abilities; written and synthesized communication; multitasking in a rapid‑paced environment; team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, discipline; public speaking and meeting facilitation skills.
