Position: Account Development Manager (Greater Philadelphia/ DE/ NJ)

Account Development Manager (ADM) is responsible for developing and managing agent relationships by supporting new and existing agent/dealer business, expanding product offerings with agent partners, and selling dealers.

Account Development Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage new and existing agent onboarding, providing training and development of SVP ancillary products and services;
  • Collaborate with Foundation BDMs on new and existing agents, accounts, and pipeline opportunities via the agent channel;
  • Work with agent partners to anticipate future requirements, identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for SVP products, and increase customer loyalty and sales;
  • Develop a deep understanding of multiple agencies, agent channels, product variations, and white‑label programs to enhance program offerings;
  • Understand and train on different VSCs and product offerings for all agent partners at the dealer level, including package selling of Sonsio products;
  • Assist agents and dealers with operational tasks such as dealer login resets, personnel changes, product enhancements, pricing adjustments, and POS materials;
  • Maintain daily and weekly collaboration check‑ins with agents, including field visits and virtual training as needed;
  • Support new store installs of designated programs and services at agent and dealer locations; and
  • Negotiate and secure top menu shelf space for SVP products and services at agent and dealer level, and deliver cross‑region training.
  • Build and maintain high‑level relationships with dealership executive management teams (GM, GSM, F&I Director, Service Director, and Service Writers) to set business goals, value‑sell, and retain customers;
  • Analyze performance metrics via Power Bi to identify opportunities for agents and dealers, recommend actions to improve performance, and mitigate risks;
  • Attend national and regional sales conferences, collaborate with corporate colleagues, and stay current on industry knowledge to increase value perception;
  • Monitor competitive information, including pricing and market strategies, and proactively resolve customer sales, service, and claims issues alongside Sonsio CSR’s; and
  • Manage travel, expenses, Salesforce activity, and meet individual monthly sales objectives while completing all administrative tasks accurately.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years in account management or business development within the auto finance industry;
  • In‑depth understanding of auto finance, lending, or service business;
  • Proven ability to deliver effective training and service support to dealership personnel;
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate across dealership management and within the company;
  • Ability to prioritize time, effort, and resources while adjusting objectives as needed;
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Strong assessment skills and critical thinking; and
  • Meeting Sonsio’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy requirements.

Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and geography and may include commission, bonus, or profit sharing. The total compensation package includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match (50% up to 7% of employee contribution).
