Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Lead sales of Emerson Isolation, Pressure Management, and Instrumentation solutions in the Ohio industrial market.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities, applying knowledge of customers’ business to develop value propositions that result in closed sales.
- Represent Emerson entities, identifying opportunities and coordinating with appropriate resources to complete transactions.
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a four‑year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrate understanding of the technical and business challenges in the market and a proven ability to develop and deliver solutions.
- Possess strong presentation, consultative selling, interpersonal, account planning, and communication skills.
- Be a team player who works closely with Regional Account Directors and cross‑functional colleagues.
- Have experience building and managing key sales relationships.
- Be able to penetrate new accounts, develop solid territory business plans, and execute daily territory coverage.
- Show mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and time‑management skills to capture business opportunities.
- Collaboratively work across all levels to build an inclusive and positive environment.
- Demonstrate customer focus by understanding needs, providing professional service, and handling concerns appropriately.
- Act with integrity, behaving ethically and taking responsibility for results.
